ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Eden
and I’d love to photograph your wedding.
I was always the kid with a camera, taking embarrassing pictures of my friends on nights out. But it wasn’t until I started working with an aid charity and travelled out to Sierra Leone with a professional photographer that I had my lightbulb moment.
So I quit my job and started working towards becoming A Photographer. Since then I’ve been lucky enough to work around the world, for some amazing organisations - you can check out my photojournalism work at www.edensparke.com.
Now, I’m bringing that photojournalism knowledge and energy into my wedding work. I spend 90% of my time being a fly on the wall, but I also recognise that weddings are often a chance to get pictures with people that you might not get to see very often. So the other 10% is helping you to get the photos you want with the people that you love.
Being part of one of the happiest days of your life is an enormous privilege and I’d love to photograph your wedding. If you’re interested in hiring me for your big day, get in touch!
How does it all work then?
Below is a quick guide to what happens before, during and after your booking. No wedding is the same, so if you have any special requests, let me know and we can tailor the day to what you need.
BEFORE
AFTER
Any questions? We can have a call to go over anything you need before you book in. When you’re happy to proceed, I’ll send over a booking form. Once this is signed and a booking fee paid, your booking is secured!
If you’ve opted for an engagement shoot, we’ll set a date and location, and I’ll send over a guide for things like what to wear.
About 2 months out from the big day, we’ll have a call to chat through how your plans are going, and start to think about details like group shots and logistics. This normally takes about 30 - 45 minutes.
Two weeks out, we’ll have a final call to go over the schedule for the day. Now is the time to tell me if you have any surprises planned! This call doesn’t usually take longer than 30 minutes.
The day before, I’ll message just to check that we’re all systems go.
I’ll arrive at the venue before the agreed start time - this is to make sure I don’t cause any delays, so don’t worry if I turn up and you’re not ready yet.
Then we’ll get stuck in! I want you to enjoy your day with your guests, so I’ll spend most of my time taking candid shots. But when it comes time for things like group shots, I may boss everyone around a bit to make sure we get the photos you want as painlessly as possible!
How long I stay for will depend on the package you’ve booked, but I’ll always make sure to say goodbye before I let you get on with your night.
DURING
After we part ways, you’ll receive a sneak peek album of between 10 and 15 photos within 48 hours.
Then, it’s onto editing the full album. Your photos will be delivered electronically 4-6 weeks after the date of the wedding.
If you’ve ordered an album, I’ll set up a meeting where we can view the photos together and you can select which you want to use, and we can start designing!
